Having lived in Bansko for the last 19 years I am your local expert. Bansko has a unique history and atmosphere and is located at the foot of the magical Pirin Mountains and just 2.5 hours from the beaches of Greece.
Bansko is equally attractive in winter and summer, combines the old and the modern, and attracts digital nomads, families with children, solo travelers and larger groups of tourists. The town is home to several co-working and co-living spaces with excellent facilities, many hotels, guesthouses, chalets and individual apartments offered at very attractive rates both for short- and long term rentals.
